On the crankcase (right) 1.

Yamaha bond No. 1215:
90890-85505
NOTE:
Clean the contacting surface of crankcase (left
and right) before applying the sealant.
5. Install:
9 Dowel pin 1
9 Crankcase (right) 2
To crankcase (left) 3.
NOTE:
9 Fit the crankcase (right) onto the crankcase
(left). Tap lightly on the case with soft hammer.
9 When installing the crankcase, the connecting
rod should be positioned at TDC (top dead
center).

In order to prevent the oil seal lip a a from
being turned up or damaged, wrap a vinyl
tape or the like b b around the right end of
the crankshaft and apply the lithium soap
base grease over the tape.
