Customers with a HP support agreement or HP Care Pack can download new software

updates as they are available. After you have registered for an HP Passport account and
have linked your HP support agreements to this account, to obtain software updates:

Log in to your HP Passport account from the HP Support Center home page at
http://www.hp.com/go/hpsc

Click Software updates and licensing under Download options
o
Follow the instructions to locate and download your software updates
Consult the appropriate Cisco MDS 9000 release notes for instructions on how to determine the
current NX-OS version on your switch.

FICON SUPPORT

FICON is supported with NX-OS on the MDS 9100, 9200 and 9500 series switches. For
supported versions and configurations refer to the C-series FICON Connectivity Stream on
SPOCK website at http://www.hp.com/storage/spock. You must sign up for an HP Passport to be
granted access.

HARDWARE COMPONENTS

The following Cisco MDS 9000 Family hardware component is not supported by HP:

