Close the rear cover and the rear paper feed slot cover.

Reattach the rear cover.

Carefully remove the jammed paper.

Open the scanner unit. Then remove all of the paper inside, including any torn pieces.

Important:
Do not touch the flat white cable connected to the ink cartridge holder.
