AVS3000 ALARM/IMMOBILISER

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing the AVS 3000 for your vehicle. These systems have
been designed to provide exceptional security and convenience for you and
your vehicle.
When armed the AVS 3000 protects your vehicle by triggering if the door,
bonnet and boot is opened or if an impact is detected by the on-board shock
sensor. The AVS 3000 immobilises one of the vehicles electrical circuits,
usually starter or ignition when the alarm is armed.

NORMAL OPERATION

THE REMOTE CONTROL:

The remote controls are used to control the alarm's various functions and
features. The AVS 3000 is supplied with two remotes both with two buttons.
The remotes have two long life lithium batteries fitted which can be purchased
from your AVS dealer or any good electrical outlet.
It is wise to replace the batteries before they fail completely. An
indication that the battery needs replacing would be a reduction in
operating range.

  • Page 2 THIS FEATURE CANNOT LOCK THE DOORS AUTO RE-ARM: The AVS 3000 will automatically re-arm itself and re-lock the doors if the system is disarmed and a door not opened within 60 seconds. This function prevents the accidental disarming of the alarm system.
  • Page 3 ADDITIONAL FEATURES The AVS 3000 has several additional features. Some vehicles may require extra components. Please consult your installer. CENTRAL LOCKING: Doors will lock when alarm is armed and un-lock when disarmed. PANIC FUNCTION: When in armed mode press button one for 2 seconds. The alarm will trigger for 30 seconds.
