Using a USB Port (USB Cable)
NOTE
• In order to use the printer via USB, your computer must be equipped with a USB port.
• USB is not available for Windows NT.
1 Log on as a member of Administrators. The full control access right for the printer is
necessary
for installation of CAPT.
2 Plug and Play is being carried out, and the USB class driver and USB Printing Support is
automatically detected and installed.
3 The Found New Hardwere Wizard appears and prompts you to insert the CD-ROM. Select
Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click Next.
"Unknown" may be displayed as the name of the device.

Uncheck the Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...) check box.
