Description
This field allows you to select which MPS (Multi-
Processor Specification) version to be used for the
operating system.
This item is only required if you have installed more
than 64MB of memory and you are running the OS/
2 operating system.
The S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and
Reporting Technology) system is a diagnostics
technology that monitors and predicts device
performance.
For compatibility with Windows 95 logo certification,
select Yes to release IRQ6 when the system
contains no floppy drive. When this setting is set to
Yes, users have to select Disabled for the Onboard
FDC Controller in the Integrated Peripherals menu.
This item enables you to show the company logo on
the bootup screen.
Enabled: Shows a still image (logo) on the full
screen at boot.
Disabled: Shows the POST messages at boot.
