Primo Settanta provides circuital solutions with no compromises and features capable to satisfy advanced users’ demands. Primo Settanta is a 70 Watt channels amplifier with line inputs and optional phono stage, high-performance circuits with wide bandwidth and low feedback, separated circuit sections for each channel, linear analogic power supply with a toroidal transformer and five different stabilizing sections, high-quality passive components, integrated-resistor network volume controls with no buffer for maximum sound transparency.

Front panel 1) POWER. By pushing this button the unit is turned on/off. 2) SELECT. Inputs selector. It allows selecting the desired source. One of the green leds on its right indicates the selected source. 3) PH/1,2,3,4,5. Green leds that indicate the selected input. In 1 may be used as phono input thanks to the optional board. A fix light indicates the selected source and the normal operative status of the unit, while a blinking light indicates that the unit is in the mute mode.

Do not search the correct phase unless the unit is unplugged. To make plugging easy, Audio Analogue marked the Primo Settanta power cord pin that has to be plugged into the inlet phase hole. It is then sufficient to verify which outlet hole is the phase hole and plug the power cord in inserting the phase pin into the phase hole.

Volume settings and silencing (mute) The volume knob on the front panel and the Vol+/Vol- buttons on the remote controller change the general sound level. It means that the volume of the two channels is altered identically. It is possible to modify the relative level of each channel changing the balance option in the setup.

Phono board (optional) A feature that makes Primo Settanta a very flexible unit is the possibility to install a special board (1) that transforms Line input 1 into a Phono input. If you want to connect Primo Settanta to a record player, please ask for the optional phono board and install it according to the instructions below.
Warnings on Primo Settanta use The volume knob doesn’t operate on a potentiometer. It turns clockwise or anti-clockwise for a few degrees and goes back to the initial position when released.
