Erasing a loop-recorded phrase

Here's how to erase a phrase that you've recorded on a loop.
The erased phrase cannot be recovered. Use this
operation with caution.
Note: If the optional VOX VFS2 foot switch is connected
to the EXT.SW jack, it can be used to delete phrases. ()

Deleting with a LOOP pedal
You can delete phrases using a LOOP pedal. The pedal
can be used while playing standing up.
1.
Hold down the LOOP pedal while a phrase is
playing back or stopped after being recorded.
The PLAY status LED, REC status LED and CLEAR
button will blink rapidly. If they do not light up, the
phrase has been deleted.
Note: When the LOOP pedal is held down while
stopped, the process for deleting the phrase will
start at the moment the playback sound is output.

Deleting with the CLEAR button
When a phrase exists in only one loop
1.
Press the CLEAR button.
The phrase will be deleted.
When a phrase is in both loops while recording or
overdubbing one loop
1.
Press the CLEAR button.
Only the phrase in the loop that's being recorded or
overdubbed will be deleted.
When a phrase exists in both loops during playback
or while stopped
1.
Press the CLEAR button.
The CLEAR button, all PLAY status LEDs and REC
status LEDs will blink.
Note: If you press a button other than the CLEAR
button or LOOP button, the deletion of the phrase
will be canceled.
2.
Press the LOOP pedal of the loop phrase that you
want to delete.
The loop phrase of the pedal that was pressed will
be deleted.
