Removing The Input/Output (I/O)
Board
1. Follow the procedures in
battery .
2. Remove the
Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card .
3. Remove the
Secure Digital (SD) card .
4. Remove the
base cover .
5. Remove the
keyboard .
6. Remove the
hard drive .
7. Remove the
memory .
8. Remove the
palm rest .
9. Remove the
Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) card .
10. Remove the
Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) card .
11. Remove the
heat sink .
12. Remove the
display assembly .
13. Remove the
system board .
14. Remove the
15. Disconnect the speaker cable from the I/O board.
16. Remove the I/O board from the chassis.
