Ventilation
The ventilationlever mustbe in the CLOSEposition in order to maintainthe best cooling conditions.
When fresh air is necessaryin the room,set the ventilationleverto theOPEN position.
The damperis openedand room air is drawnout.

Air Direction
The directionof air can be controlledwherever you want to
cool by adjusting the horizontal louver and the vertical
buyer.
• HORIZONTAL
AIR-DIRECTION
CONTROL
To control horizontal direction of air flow, set to the ON
position the air-swing switch and the air flow will be swept
horizontallyby the automaticair-swingsystem
If you want to stop the air flow from moving,switch off the
air swing switch at the desired positionof the vane
• VERTICAL AIR.DIRECTION
CONTROL
The vertical air direction is adjusted by moving the
horizontallouver.
How to Attach Drain Pan
Theair conditioner e mploysa properdrainmethodwhereby the condensed water (moistureremoved from
the air) isdraned to theoutside.
Invery humidweather,(andfor reverse cyclemodelsin thereversemode)excessive condensate water
removed fromthe airmay causesomewatertocoiled. To remove this excesswateryoucaninstallthe
drainpan as detailedbelow.
1 Takethe drainpanwhichis located: in the air discharge.

2. Remove the holerubberfromthe base-pan(forsomemodels).
3 Install t he drainpanto therightcornerof thecabinetwith 4 (or2}
screws.
4 Connect t hedrain hoseof sis"insidediameter to theoutletlocated

atthe bosomof thedrainpan.Youcanpurchase the drainhoseor
tubinglocally to satisfyyourparticularneeds.(Drainhoseis not
supplied).
