When the smartphone has b een a dded
successfully, the image transfer screen
will b e displayed. Proceed to"Sending
Images" (_._ 1 05).
When you are inthe vicinity ofanaccess point that you have
previously connected to, t he camera will a utomatically connect to
itinstep 3 .To change access points, select [Switch Network] from
the screen that will be displayed when the connection isbeing
established, and follow s teps 4- 5in"Adding aComputer" (S_._ 100).
All c amera images can b e viewed from the connected smartphone
when you choose [Yes] instep 7 .To keep camera images private, so
that they cannot be viewed from the smartphone, choose [No] instep 7 .
You can c onnect to smartphones that you h ave already connected to by
choosing them o n the [ Select aDevice] screen instep 3.
After you h ave accessed the W i-Fi menu once, you c an a ccess itagain by
pressing the < A> b utton. The r ecent target device islisted first, so you c an
easily connect again by pressing the < A><v> buttons tochoose it. T o add
anew d evice, display the d evice selection screen by pressing the < _><_.>
buttons, and t hen configure the s etting.
If y ou p refer not todisplay recent target devices, press the < MENU> button,
and o n the [ ?_'] tab, choose [Wi-Fi Settings] >[Target History] >[Offj.
The i mage quality level for m ovies that can b e sent may differ depending
on the s martphone. Refer tothe i nstruction manual provided with your
smartphone for d etails.
To add multiple smartphones, repeat the a bove procedures starting from s tep 1.
To change privacy settings for s martphones added to the l ist, choose the
smartphone
whose settings you want to change from [Edit a Device] in step 3,
and then choose [View Settings].
Connect two cameras via Wi-Fi and send images between them as follows.
o Only Canon-brand cameras equipped with a Wi-Fi function can be connectedto
wirelessly. Even Canon-brand cameras that support Eye-Fi cards cannot be connected
to if they do not have a Wi-Fi function. Youcannot connect to PowerShot SD430
DIGITAL ELPH WIRELESS/DIGITAL IXUS WIRELESS cameras with this camera.
Access the Wi-Fi menu.
® Press the <A> button.
2 Choose a camera.
® Press the <A><v><_><F> buttons to
choose [0], and then press the <@>
button.
3 Choose [Add a Device].
® Press the <A><v> buttons to choose
[Add a Device], and then press the <@>
button.
® Follow steps 1 - 3 on the target camera.
Camera connection information will be added
when [Start connection on target camera] is
displayed on both camera screens.
When the target camera has been added
successfully, the image transfer screen
will be displayed. Proceed to "Sending
Images" (_[._ 105 ).
