2 Choose [Date[Time].
@ Move the zoom lever to choose the [_I']
tab.
@ Press the <A><v> buttons to choose
and then press the <@>
[Date/Time],
button.
3 Change the date and time.
@ Follow step 2 on _- 13 to adjust the
settings.
@ Press the
<MENU>
button to close the
menu.
, Date/time settings can be retained for about 3 weeks by the camera's built-in
date/time battery (backup battery) after the battery pack is removed.
, The date/time battery will be charged in about 4 hours once you insert a
charged battery or connect the camera to an AC adapter kit (sold separately,
118), even if the camera is left off.
, Once the date/time battery is depleted, the [Date/Time] screen will be
displayed when you turn the camera on. Follow the steps on 13 to set the
date and time.
Disp|ay Language
Change the display language as needed.

Enter Playback mode.
@ Press the <F_> button.
2 Access the setting screen.
@ Press and hold the <@> button, and
then immediately press the
<MENU>
button.
3 Set the display language.
@ Press the <,A.><v><,_><_> buttons to
choose a language, and then press the
<@> button.
Once the display language has been set,
the setting screen is no longer displayed.
o The current time is displayed if you wait too long in step 2 after pressing the
<@> button before you press the <MENU> button. In this case, press the
<@> button to dismiss the time display and repeat step 2.
o You can also change the display language by pressing the <MENU> button
and choosing [Language [_--_- o n the [71'] tab.
