2 Rotate the image.
® Press the <_><_'> buttons to choose an
image.
® The image is rotated 90 ° each time you
press the <@> button.
¢ To return to the menu screen, press the
<MENU>
button.
!i) ° Movies with an image quality of [_'_] cannot be rotated.
Rotation is not possible when [Auto Rotate] is set to [Off] (_i_[81).

Follow these steps to deactivate automatic rotation by the camera, which
rotates images shot in vertical orientation so they are displayed vertically on
the camera.
® Press the
<MENU>
button, choose [Auto
Rotate] on the [['€'1] tab, and then choose
[Off] (_,_ 32).
(_i) ° Images cannot be rotated (._,_80) when you set [Auto Rotate] to
[Off]. Additionally, images already rotated will be displayed in the
original orientation.
° In Smart Shuffle (_[_76) mode, even if [Auto Rotate] is set to
[Off], images shot vertically will be displayed vertically, and rotated
images will be displayed in the rotated orientation.
You can organize images by tagging them as favorites. By choosing a
category in filtered playback, you can restrict the following operations to all
of those images.
° Viewing (_[j71), Viewing Slideshows (_[j75), Protecting Images
(_[_176), Erasing Images (_178), Adding Images to the Print List
(DPOF) (_i 125), Adding Images to a Photobook (_k_,127)
_Tagging images as Favorites
@ Using the Menu
® Press the <@> button, and then choose
[-_I_] in the menu (._,_31).
[Tagged as Favorite] is displayed.
® To untag the image, repeat this process
and choose ["k] again, and then press
the <@> button.
Choose [Favorites].
® Press the
<MENU>
button and choose
[Favorites] on the [F_] tab (_[._32).
