The following warning messages may also appear when
a disc error is detected. Perform operations and
selections as directed by these messages.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Memo
If the RECOVERY screen appears, we recommend selecting USE NEW DISC (perform recovery to a new disc).
This can help you avoid being unable to play titles that were recorded before the error occurred.

PLEASE CONTACT SERVICE.
MOISTURE HAS BEEN DETECTED.
KEEP THE POWER ON AND WAIT
UNTIL THIS INDICATION GOES OFF.
DISC FULL.
CANNOT ADD NEW TITLES.
DISC FULL.
USE ANOTHER DISC.
When you press the MENU button, a screen that
corresponds to the cause of the error appears.

HUMID!
DISC FULL!
Cause and remedies
The unit has detected that the battery is low when the
power was turned on. It is required to replace the battery
with new one.
tPush any button to make the alarm message
disappears. Contact your nearest Sony dealer to
replace the battery with a new one.
Condensation may form inside the unit.
tKeep the power on, wait until the alarm message
disappears, and then load the disc.
You loaded a disc which is almost full. This message is
displayed for about five seconds, and then the display
returns to normal.
You tried to record on a disc which was full. This
message is displayed for about five seconds, and then the
display returns to normal.
t Replace the disc with one which has sufficient
capacity for recording.
