You enable, or “publish,” these print connections to users on the network when you configure Printer Setup. All published connections are constantly checked for the presence of jobs. The E100 seeks this authentication at startup, or when the Ethernet cable is disconnected and reconnected. If the E100 is successfully authenticated, it is allowed access to the network. -
