• When you wish to open the BJ Status Monitor while the printer is not printing, follow the

procedure below.
1) Open the Printer Properties dialogue box.
2) Click the Maintenance tab.
3) Click the Start Status Monitor button.
• You can select the way of launching the BJ Status Monitor. For more details, refer to the
on-line Help for the BJ Status Monitor.
• When nothing is displayed in Progress, follow the procedure below.
1) Open the Printer Properties dialogue box directly from the Start menu.
2) Click the Details tab.
3) Click the Spool Settings button.
4) Check that "Spool print jobs so program finishes printing faster" is enabled in the Spool
Settings dialogue box.
5) Check that "RAW" is displayed in the Spool data format box.
• To close the BJ Status Monitor, click the "X" button on the upper right corner of the BJ
Status Monitor window. When the BJ Status Monitor is minimised on the Windows Task-
bar, right-click the BJ Status Monitor icon on the taskbar and then select Close.
