Light-emitting diode (LED) status lights : Indicates user presence information
(Green indicates "Available", Amber indicates "Away", Green & Amber indicates
"Inactive", and Red indicates "Busy" or "Active Call")
Scroll-wheel : Navigates up and down the contact list and other elements of the
user interface.
Volume up/down button : Increases and decreases the volume for the
ringer, handset, and loudspeaker.
Mute microphone : Disable or enable audio input
Speakerphone button : Activate or deactivate speakerphone
Headset button : Activate or deactivate headset audio
Finger reader : Allows you to log on to your IP8540 with the touch of your finger
Help : Displays context sensitive help
