Remove the screws securing the palm rest and keyboard frame to the base
side.

Remove the palm rest by performing

Locate the small gaps on the top side of the keyboard frame and insert a
small flat-blade screwdriver or non-marring scribe into each gap to separate
the keyboard frame from the base enclosure.

Once the top side is separated, pry loose the left and right sides of the
keyboard frame, until all the retaining tabs have been released.

Flip the keyboard over to access to the keyboard cable (1).

Unlock the system board's keyboard cable connector (2), and then remove
the cable (3).
