TROUBLESHOOTING

Before taking your camera to the repair shop, check the following table for a
possible solution to the problem.
CAMERA
Problem
No power.
The camera
turns off by
itself.
The camera is
Power
set in the
docking station,
but it does not
recharge.

Cause
The battery pack is
dead.
The battery pack
has not been
inserted correctly.
The power save
function is
operating.
Action
Recharge the battery
pack, or replace with
a new battery pack.
Reinsert the battery
pack, making sure to
orient it correctly.
Press one of the
operation buttons
once.
If a battery pack is
set in the AC adapter/
charger, the battery
pack in the AC
adapter/charger is
recharged first, after
which the battery
pack in the camera
starts to recharge. To
speed up recharging
of a battery pack, set
it in the AC adapter/
charger.
