Position the dirt container over a rubbish bin and press the
dirt container release catch (Fig.6/4)

When all the dirt has fallen close the dirt container flap,
and return the dirt container to the vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the Filter
NOTE: Do not use any detergents or boiling water to
wash the filters. Vax recommends washing the
filters every 4 weeks.
NOTE: All filters must be in place before using the
vacuum cleaner.
Central Filter
Remove the dirt container as directed above.
Pull out the central filter as shown (Fig.6/5).

Gently tap the filter against the side of a rubbish bin to
remove excess dirt (Fig.6/6).

The central filter can be rinsed in warm water (max 40°C).
Allow to air dry completely before replacing (Fig.6/7).

Return the central filter to the dirt container. Replace the
dirt container as directed.
Pre-motor Filter
Lift up the vacuum cleaner lid as directed.
Pull out the pre-motor filter as shown (Fig.6/8).

The pre-motor filter can be rinsed in warm water (max
40°C). Allow to air dry for 24 hours before replacing.
