TRAFFIC INFORMATION
If you hear the warning sound, you can
either switch off traffic information pri-
ority or tune into a station that broad-
casts traffic information.
Note:
You can stop a traffic announce-
ment whilst it is being played by
pressing the TRAF button >. The
general priority settings are re-
tained and the next traffic an-
nouncement will be played.
Since some programmes do not
yet support TA via DAB, you might
hear the warning sound if you
switch from FM to DAB whilst the
TA function is activated.
Setting the volume for traffic
announcements
Press the MENU button 8.
Keep pressing the
: until "TA VOLUME" appears in
the display.
Set the volume using the
buttons :.
When you have finished making
your changes, press the MENU
button 8 or OK ; twice.
Note:
Using the volume control 2, you
can also adjust the volume during
a traffic announcement for the du-
ration of that announcement.

DAB-FM traffic information
source
The device always switches automati-
cally to an incoming traffic announce-
ment that is being broadcast via DAB
(in DAB mode) or FM (in radio mode).
In AUX, Compact Drive MP3, MMC/SD,
CD and CD-changer mode, you will
hear traffic announcements played from
the source that was active last (either
DAB or radio).
