ADVANCED OPERATIONS

Operations indicated by * cannot be used when the DIGITAL
MODE switch is set to on (and the digital output terminal is used).

Scratch Play (*)

When the jog mode is set to SCRATCH, rotating the jog dial causes the
disc to play in the direction and speed corresponding to the direction and
speed in which the jog dial is turned.
1. Press the JOG MODE button.
÷ The SCRATCH indicator will flash and data is stored in the
memory. When all data is stored in the memory, the SCRATCH
indicator lights steadily. If the jog dial is moved harshly while the
indicator is flashing, the sound may skip.
2. Rotate the jog dial in the direction and at the speed
you wish playback to occur.
÷ Disc play will occur in response to the jog dial's direction and
speed of rotation.
3. Stop jog dial operation.
÷ CD playback will return to its original status.
÷ When the SEARCH button is pressed during a pause in the
SCRATCH jog mode, the playback mode changes from slow to
normal playback and search depending on how long the button is
held down.

Hot Cue (*)

Up to three Hot Cue points (1, 2, 3) can be programmed in the memory,
allowing you to begin playback instantly from either of those points.
Cue points and loop points can also be programmed in the memory and
recalled with one touch.
7 Setting a Hot Cue Point
1. Press the HOT CUE REC button to set the HOT CUE
recording mode (the REC button lights).
2. During playback or playback pause, press either
HOT CUE button 1, 2, or 3 at the place you wish to
set as a Hot Cue point.
÷ The pressed button will flash for 2 seconds then light steadily.
÷ If Hot Cue is set during cueing pause or cue standby, the cue
point and loop information (when LOOP indicator is lighted) will
be recorded.
3. After completing the setting, press the HOT CUE
REC button to switch to access mode (the button
light goes out).

Las funciones indicadas con * no pueden utilizarse cuando se ha
activado el selector DIGITAL MODE (y se emplean las tomas de
salida digital).
Reproducción rascada (*)
Cuando el mando de lanzadera se ajusta en SCRATCH, al girar el mando
de lanzadera, el disco se reproduce en la dirección y a la velocidad
correspondientes a la dirección y velocidad con la que se gira el mando
de lanzadera.
1. Presione el botón JOG MODE.
÷ El indicador SCRATCH parpadeará y los datos se almacenarán en
la memoria. Cuando se hayan almacenado todos los datos en la
memoria, el indicador SCRATCH quedará encendido. Si se mueve
severamente el mando de lanzadera mientras el indicador está
parpadeando, es posible que se produzcan saltos del sonido.
2. Gire el mando de lanzadera en la dirección y a la
velocidad que usted desea que se realice la
reproducción.
÷ La reproducción del disco corresponderá a la dirección y a la
velocidad de rotación del mando.
3. Detenga la operación del mando de lanzadera.
÷ La reproducción del CD volverá a su estado original.
÷ Cuando se presiona el botón SEARCH durante una pausa en el
modo de lanzadera SCRATCH, el modo de reproducción cambia
de reproducción lenta a normal y se efectúa la búsqueda
dependiendo del tiempo que se tiene presionado el botón.
Localización rápida (*)
Pueden programarse hasta tres puntos de localización rápida (1, 2, 3) en
la memoria, para que usted pueda iniciar instantáneamente la
reproducción desde cualquiera de estos puntos.
Los puntos de localización y los puntos de bucle también pueden
programarse en la memoria y llamarse con una sola pulsación.
7 Ajuste de un punto de localización rápida
1. Presione el botón HOT CUE REC para ajustar el
modo de grabación HOT CUE (se enciende el botón
REC).
2. Durante la pausa de grabación o de reproducción,
presione uno de los botones HOT CUE 1, 2 ó 3 en el
lugar en el que desee ajustar un punto de
localización rápida.
÷ El botón presionado parpadeará durante 2 segundos y luego
quedará encendido.
÷ Si se ajusta la localización rápida durante la pausa de localización o
durante la espera de localización, se grabarán el punto de
localización y la información de bucle (cuando el indicador LOOP
esté encendido).
3. Después de terminar el ajuste, presione el botón
HOT CUE REC para cambiar al modo de acceso (se
apagará la luz del botón).
