Since DVD films are not normally released in all parts of the world at the same time, all DVD
players have a specific regional code. Discs can be given an optional regional code. If the regional
codes differ between the player and the disc, playback is not possible.
DVDs must have the 'ALL' identifier for all regions or '2' for Region 2 for them to play in this
machine. If a different region is printed on the DVD you will not be able to play it in this DVD
recorder.
The number inside the globe indicates a region of the world.
Regional code 2 includes:
Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East (incl. Egypt).

: 43.5/8.8/32.6 (Disc tray closed), 46.1 (disc tray open)

: Channel and timer information remain saved for up to 1 year, the
