Camera
Your Vertu phone incorporates a 3 Megapixel camera . There is a powerful
8x digital zoom which together with the 16 million colour HVGA screen
produces crisp, high quality images.
Your Vertu phone supports an image capture resolution of 2048 x 1536
pixels. Pictures are saved in jpg format and video clips are saved in 3gp
format. Available recording time depends on the video clip length and
quality settings.
You can take photos and record video clips with Camera and send them by
message to your friends if your network supports it, or save them in the
memory from where they can be transfered to your computer.

Taking photos

1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. To start Camera, press the [Camera] key (

Taking videos

1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. To start Video recorder, press and hold the [Camera] key (

You can also start Video recorder, by launching Camera as in "Taking photos"

(page 43) and pressing the [Navigation] key (Right) to switch to Video recorder.

Using your Vertu phone
Gallery
You can mangage various types of media files, such as the photos and
video clips you took with your camera, or music files you transferred from
your computer, in Gallery. To launch the Gallery application, open your
Vertu phone and select Menu » Gallery.
In addition to the media files stated above, the following files can be saved
in Gallery:
Media files downloaded from the web

Recording files using Voice recorder (Menu » Additions » Voice Recorder)

Media files transferred to your Vertu phone from Vertu PC Suite (page 49)

Media files received or copied using E-mail / PC mail, Bluetooth or a USB data

cable, etc.
The media files transferred to your Vertu phone using Bluetooth are saved
in the Received files folder. Photos and videos taken with your camera are
stored in the Images and Video clips folders on the memory card,
respectively (when the memory card is fitted in the phone), or in the Images
and Video clips folders of the phone memory, respectively (when the
memory card is not fitted in the phone), if the default settings have not been
changed. You can also view or use the files saved on the memory card.
Copyright protections may prevent some files from being copied, modified,
transferred or forwarded.
