Other useful features

Setting an alarm
Alarms can be set to ring at specific times. Use one of the following
methods to launch the alarm menu.
Open your Vertu phone and select Menu » Alarm clock from the Home screen.

If the default configuration has not been changed, press the [Navigation] key

(Right) from the Home screen, and then select Alarm clock from the Go to
shortcut list that appears (page 31)
After the alarm menu appears, make the necessary settings such as alarm
time. At this time, you can also select Options to set the snooze interval or
repeat function, or to cancel an alarm that has already been set.
When an alarm has been set, a red marker will appear on the analogue
clock on both the inner and outer displays, indicating the time of the set
alarm.
To stop or snooze a ringing alarm when your Vertu phone is closed, simply
open it, or use the icons that appear on the outer display. For more
information on controlling alarms while your Vertu phone is closed, see
"What you can do on the outer display" (page 20) » "Stopping/snoozing the
activated alarm" (page 21).
Tip: When an alarm starts ringing while you are using a feature or
application with your Vertu phone open or while a screen other than
the Home screen is displayed on the inner display, you will need to
press the [End] key until the Home screen appears in order to snooze
the alarm.
Note: If your Vertu phone is switched off, it will switch itself on at the
alarm time. Remember this if you are in a restricted area.

Themes
Your Vertu phone comes with various themes containing different colour
schemes and wallpapers to use as display backgrounds.
To change the theme:
1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. Select Menu » Settings » Themes.
3. If folders are displayed, select one as necessary.
4. When you move the cursor to a theme and stays for a few seconds, you
are given a preview of the selected theme. Once you have a theme that
you would prefer, select it by pressing the centre [SELECT] key.
When you travel abroad with the Auto clock feature on, time synchronisation
with an atomic clock working properly and when the Travel image option
under Menu » Settings » Display is turned On, the wallpaper on the inner
display will automatically change to photos that reflect the local characteristics
of your new location. Refer to "Travel image" (page 27) for more information.
Contacts
Contacts has capacity for up to 2,000 entries. A single entry can include up to
five phone numbers and five e-mail addresses, respectively, and according to
your preference, you can also switch the screen view between "AKaSaTaNa"
tab search mode and all list search mode. It is also possible to send Contacts
data to another compatibledevice using E-mail or Bluetooth.
To launch the Contacts name list, open your Vertu phone and select Menu »
Contacts » Names. If you have not changed the default configuration, you
can also select this menu just by pressing the [Navigation] key (Down) once
(refer to "Shortcuts assigned to the [Navigation] key" on page 30). To switch
the screen view between "AKaSaTaNa" tab and list search modes, select
Options » Tab search or List search.
