DVD VCD CD SACD MP3
DVD-RW:
Select "Original" or "Play List" by pressing the DIRECTION
buttons, select an item by pressing the DIRECTION buttons,
and press the ENTER button.
Original:
Titles recorded automatically during recording.
Play List:
Titles edited after recording.
(Not all DVD-RW discs contain a Play List.)
< You cannot switch between Original and Play List during
playback.
< To preview the first frame of the highlighted menu item, press
the RIGHT button.
< If you press the MENU button during playback, the menu will
appear on the screen.
MP3:
Load a disc containing MP3 tracks, and press the MENU
button to display the MP3 navigator.

Select a folder by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons and press
the ENTER button. Playback will start from the first track of the
selected folder.
To start playback from a specific track, select a folder by
pressing the UP/DOWN buttons and press the RIGHT button to
move the cursor to the list of tracks. Select a track by pressing
the UP/DOWN buttons and press the ENTER button to start
playback.
< When the MP3 Navigator is active, following buttons will not
work. Press the menu button to turn it off.
REPEAT, A-B, PROGRAM, RANDOM, SEARCH MODE, AUDIO
< When playback is stopped by pressing the STOP button, the
player remembers the current folder as long as the disc tray
isn't opened. When you press the PLAY button next time,
playback will start from the first track of that folder.
(This function doesn't work during programmed playback and
shuffle playback.)

To suspend playback temporarily (pause
mode)
Press the PAUSE button (J) during playback.
The video will stop on a single frame on DVD and VCD discs,
and music will interrupt on CD, SACD and MP3 discs.
To resume playback, press the PLAY button (y) or the
PAUSE button (J ). Play will continue from where you
paused the playback.
B
To stop playback of CD, SACD and MP3
Press the STOP button (H).
C
To stop and resume playback of DVD-Video
and VCD
If you press the STOP button (H) during playback of DVD-
Video or VCD, "RESUME" briefly appears on the screen, and
the unit enters RESUME mode.
If you want to cancel the RESUME mode and stop playback
completely, press the STOP button (H) again.
How to resume playback:
During playback of DVD, press the STOP button (H) at the
point where you want to interrupt playback. Press the PLAY
button (y) to start playback from the interrupted point.
< If one of the following buttons is pressed, resume function
will be cancelled:
STOP in the stop mode, OPEN/CLOSE
