Chapter 1
Turn On Computer
1. Turn on your Power Macintosh. Your newly accelerated machine
should boot as normal.
2. If you are installing a Crescendo G4, see Chapter 8, "Upgrading to
Mac OS 9 and a G4" for information about enabling AltiVec
extensions in Mac OS and application software.
