SOFTWARE INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT! Install the software BEFORE you insert the Socket 56K
Modem Card into your device.
ADVANCED USERS: Refer to Appendix C for CAB file installation instructions.
1. Use a serial/USB cable or cradle and ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center
software to make an active connection between the mobile computer and a host
PC.
2. Insert the 56K Modem Installation CD into the host PC.
3. Use My Computer or Windows Explorer to access your CD-ROM drive. Click on
SETUP.EXE.
4. The Setup program for the modem software will appear. Follow the instructions
on your screen until installation is complete.
5. When installation is complete, your device will prompt you to remove the device
from the cradle and soft reset. Tap ok.
6. Remove your device from the cradle and press the reset button.
