Viewing Live Video

1 Click Home on the left side of the screen. The home page screen appears.
2 Click Continue. The Browser Client ActiveX downloads to your unit and the Browser Client
screen displays:
Select an
instrument from this
dropdown menu.
The menu shows all
the instruments the
administrator
assigned to this
user.
List of cameras
assigned to this
instrument.
3 From the dropdown menu, select an instrument.
4 Drag and drop a camera or instrument over the video pane. You can view live video from that
camera or instrument.
5 Right-click the live video display to bring up a menu that allows you to:
• Increase or decrease video quality
• Switch between high and low resolution
• Remove one or all cameras.
6 If camera control is available, the camera control icon appears in the view pane. Click it to
manipulate camera controls.
7 Optional: Select Show Overlay to display information (Intellex name, camera name, date, time
and alarm type) on the main screen.
8 Optional: Select DirectDraw support.
Note
DirectDraw provides improved video quality, smoother images, and maximizes computer
performance. However, you must install a video card and appropriate software drivers with
DirectDraw support on the computer that is running Browser Client.
9 Sign out when you have finished displaying video. The login screen appears.
