    Stack Installation Guide for AT-2552XS L2 Data Center Switch Console Port The Console port is used to locally configure the features and parameter settings of the switch. See Figure 2 on page 20 for the location of the Console port. This type of management uses serial RS-232 and is commonly referred to as local or out-of-band management because it is not connected over an Ethernet network.

    Chapter 1: Overview AT-PWR06 Power Supply Module The AT-DC2552XS L2 Data Center Switch is powered by one AT-PWR06 power supply module. A second AT-PWR06 power supply module may be installed for redundancy. The power supply module has an AC connector on the power supply module panel and is installed by the user in slot PS1 or slot PS2.

    There is no functional difference between the two available power supply slots. Operation of the AT-DC2552XS is the same when installed in either slot. If you want to use only one power supply, Allied Telesis recommends that you install it in the PSU1 slot.
