The safety lock prevents the oven being
switched on unintentionally, by children
for example.
^ Press the temperature selector button
repeatedly until the - triangle is
visible underneath the a symbol in
the oven display.
Three horizontal bars will appear in the
display.
^ Press the "+" button next to the
temperature selector button.
A key symbol 0-§ will appear briefly in
the oven display.
If the function selector is turned to
another position or if a button on the
control panel is pressed the key symbol
0-§ will appear again as a reminder that
the safety lock is active.
The safety lock remains active even
after a power cut.
^ Turn the function selector to "0".
^ Use the temperature selector button
to call up the a symbol.
A key symbol 0-§ will appear in the
oven display.
^ Press the "–" button next to the
temperature selector button.
Three horizontal bars will appear in the
display.
The safety lock is now de-activated and
the oven can be used as normal again.
This is a safety feature to protect the
oven if it has been operating for an
exceedingly long period.
The length of time depends on the oven
function selected. Once this time has
elapsed, the oven will switch itself off
automatically.
The fault code "F55" will appear in the
display.
The oven can be used again immedi-
ately by simply turning the function
selector to "0" and entering the process
again.
