4.2 Default Parameters

The versatility of this analyzer usually results in significant changes
being made to parameters over the course of time to better suit a
particular application. Occasionally processes change requiring
alteration to alarms, ranges etc. At some time, it may be beneficial to
reset the analyzer to the default conditions as it was when shipped from
the factory. Below is a listing of the default parameters used in
configuring your instrument:
Range/Application: Refer to the data sheet on the first page of
Alarms: Enabled, AL1=20ppm, AL2=50ppm, HI,
Auto Span Timing: 7 days, 12 hours, DEFEATED
CH4 Span: 8 ppm
NMH Span: 2 ppm
Password: TAI
Analog Outputs: Ch1=CH4 levels

4.3 Style Conventions

The following typeface conventions are used when referring to
screen names, key presses and screen readout:

Range: Auto
NON-FAILSAFE, NON-LATCHING,
CH4 levels
Ch2=NMH levels
Arial 12 pt. type in capital letters.
Example: ANALYZE or MAIN
screen or menu.
<key> The particular keystroke to
enter is placed between < and >.
Example: <enter> or <escape> or
<▲> (UP key) or <▼> (DOWN
key.
Only when the keystroke is to be
entered will it be placed between
the brackets. If discussing a
particular key it will be typed as
Series 4040
