If the water mains pressure is greater than 6 bar, a pressure reducer calibrated to 4.5 bar must be fitted. 2.2.3.2 Safety unit The tank safety unit must be ACV approved and calibrated to 7 bar. The valve discharge must be connected to the sewer drain. 2.2.3.3 Hot water expansion tank Installing a hot water expansion tank avoids any risk of pressure surges due to water-hammer. -
