VA-76 – Working with Styles on Disk

Style Delete

It is also possible to delete a Style from floppy or Zip
disk. You should use this as sparsely as possible – and
never for the supplied Zip or floppy disk. Once a
Style is gone, there is indeed no way to restore it. So
please be careful and try to forget this function even
exists.
1. Press the [STYLE] button or the [Style] field on the
Master page.
2. Press the [Disk User] field.
3. Press the [ZIP] field to select the Zip drive.
4. Press the [Options] field.
5. Select the Music Style you want to delete.
Use [o][k] fields or the [TEMPO/DATA] to call up
the Style's name, then press its field (so that it is dis-
played in white).
6. Press the [Delete] field to call up the following
page:
7. Carefully look at the Style name that is displayed
here and check whether this is the correct one.
If this is the wrong Style, press [oBack] to return to
the Style Options page and select the correct one.
8. Press the [YES] field to go ahead and delete the
Style.
Press [NO] if you selected this function by accident.
If you press [YES], the Style is deleted, after which the
display confirms the operation and returns to the ZIP
Style Options or FDD Style Options page.
9. Press [EXIT] to return to the Master page.
