Layering harpsichord sounds

The C-230 allows you to play up to three harpsichord sounds simultaneously, creating a richer sound.
1.
Simultaneously press the Harpsichord buttons for the
sounds you want to layer, making their indicators light.

Adjusting the volume of the keyboard noise

Adjusting the noise volume for
strong keystrokes
This function is only available for the four Harpsichord
sounds (8' I, 8' II, 4' and Lute) and the Fortepiano II
sound.
While holding down the [Temperament] button, turn
the [Volume] knob to adjust the volume of the noise
produced by strong keystrokes.
* The noise will be at the standard level when the knob is at the 2
o'clock position.
* Once the power is switched off, the instrument reverts to the
standard noise level.
Additional Convenient Functionality <Advanced Operation>
You can't layer a harpsichord sound with an ORGAN,
Fortepiano or Others sound.
You cannot use four harpsichord sound simultaneously.

To return to only one harpsichord sound, press only the
desired Harpsichord button.
Adjusting the noise volume for key
releases
This function is only available for the four Harpsichord
sounds (8' I, 8' II, 4' and Lute).
While holding down the [Temperament] button, turn
the [Reverb] knob to adjust the volume of the noise
heard when you release a key.
* The noise will be at the standard level when the knob is at the 2
o'clock position.
* The noise volume setting will be remembered until you switch
off the C-230. If you want to use it each time you press this tab
even after switching the C-230 off and back on, save your
settings in the C-230's Global area (see p. 30).
