following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

To adjust the thread pull-off lever 1 , nsert a screwdrver through an openng n the machne arm sde cover
(left), loosen screw 2 and adjust the poston of npper bar block (rear) 3 to the left or the rght. If the end of
thread s drawn from arrow hole A n the button after sewng, change the poston of npper bar block (rear) 3
to the left. Move the lever to the rght when the thread end comes out from arrow hole B.

Tenson post No. 1 1 s used to adjust the thread
tenson to sew on the button and a relatvely low
tenson wll be enough. Tenson post No. 2 2 s
used to adjust the thread tenson appled to the root
of the button sewng sttches. Ths tenson must be
determned accordng to the type of thread, fabrc
and thckness of the button and must be hgher than
that of tenson post No. 1 1 . Turn the tenson nuts
clockwse to ncrease or counterclockwse to reduce
the thread tenson.

1) When the machne s n the stop-moton state,
loosen screw 1 .
2) Tghten setscrew 1 so that there s a clearance
of 8 to 10 mm as a standard between the end of
thread tenson gude 3 and end of lever 4 .
after the adjustment, make sure that the
thread path is within the slot as illustrated in
Fig. A when the machine starts.
If the thread paths do not coincide with each
other, loosen screw 2 in the tension thread
guide and adjust it properly.
