    MOON SuperNova CD Player Important Safety Instructions Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water.     MOON SuperNova CD Player Introduction Your MOON SuperNova CD Player incorporates many significant design features to achieve its “world class” level of performance. This is an abbreviated list of the more important features: 24-bit/352.8kHz internal upsampling with 8X oversampling. Ultra-high performance 24-bit BurrBrown PCM1798 DAC/Digital Filter. Full unsolicited RS-232 bidirectional feedback.

    MOON SuperNova CD Player Installation & Placement The MOON SuperNova Reference CD Player is very heavy. It requires reasonable ventilation to maintain an optimum and consistent operating temperature. Consequently, it should be placed in a location with empty space around it for proper heat dissipation.

    MOON SuperNova CD Player SimLink™ The SimLink™ provides communication features between various MOON components. For example, if you were to connect the SuperNova CD Player to the i-7 Integrated Amplifier via the SimLink™, pressing the (play) button on the SuperNova would make the integrated amplifier automatically switch to it’s designated input for the CD Player (Please refer to the i-7 owner’s manual for more information if applicable).

    The MOON SuperNova CD Player uses the ‘FRM-2’ full function, all aluminum remote control (figure 3). It operates on the Philips RC-5 communication protocol and can be used with other Simaudio MOON components such as the P-8, P-5 and P-3 Preamplifiers, as well as the i-7, i-5 and i-3 integrated amplifiers.
