MOON SuperNova CD Player Installation & Placement The MOON SuperNova Reference CD Player is very heavy. It requires reasonable ventilation to maintain an optimum and consistent operating temperature. Consequently, it should be placed in a location with empty space around it for proper heat dissipation. -

MOON SuperNova CD Player SimLink™ The SimLink™ provides communication features between various MOON components. For example, if you were to connect the SuperNova CD Player to the i-7 Integrated Amplifier via the SimLink™, pressing the (play) button on the SuperNova would make the integrated amplifier automatically switch to it’s designated input for the CD Player (Please refer to the i-7 owner’s manual for more information if applicable). -

The MOON SuperNova CD Player uses the ‘FRM-2’ full function, all aluminum remote control (figure 3). It operates on the Philips RC-5 communication protocol and can be used with other Simaudio MOON components such as the P-8, P-5 and P-3 Preamplifiers, as well as the i-7, i-5 and i-3 integrated amplifiers. -
