Adding channels to the TV's memory
When you press Channel A or •, your TV will stop only on the
channels stored in the "I_V_ chmmel memory.
Follow the steps below and on the next page to program all active
channels into the "i_V'smemory.
Programming channels automatically
_(_mr'l_Vcan automatic_ly detect all active channels in your area and
store them in its memory. After the channels are stored automatically,
you can manually add or erase individual channels (see below).
"lb program ch,'mnels automatically:
1. Press MENU, and then press 4 or _ until the SET UP menu
appears.
2. Press A or • until the "I_V/CABLE is highlighted.
3. Press 4 or _ to highlight either'l_V or (;ABLE, depending on
which you use. If you use an antenna, highlight TV; if you use
cable, highlight (;ABLE.

4. Press • to select CH PROGRAM.
Note:
Totune the TVto a channel not programmed
in the channel memoo _, y ou must use the
ChannelNumber buttons on the remote
control.

5. Press 4 or _ to start channel programming. The "I_Vwill
automatically cycle through all the "I_Vor Cable channels
(depending on which you selected), and store all active channels
in the channel memory.
While the "I_Vis cycling through the channels, the message
"Programming Now--Please Wait" appears.
6. When channel programming is complete, the message
"Completed" appears.
7. Press Channel A or • to view the programmed channels.
Adding and erasing channels manually
After you have automatically programmed all active channels, you can
manually add or erase specific channels.
"ib add or erase channels:
1. Select the channel you want to add or erase. If you are adding a
channel, you must select the channel using the Channel Number
buttons.
2. Press MENU, and then press 4 or _ until the SET UP menu
appears.
