Using the group
function (Group Mode)
The recorder can operale various

• Insert a disc with group settings.

Start playback.
2 Press GROUP for 2 seconds or more.
"_ " and "GP ON" light up in the
display and the group mode turns on.

•You can also change play modes (repeat play,
or shuffle play) in the selected group. Afler
the procedures here, follow the .stepsof
"Chmlging play modes" (page 34).
• 111 group mode, pressing I_ Ollthe recorder
during the last track oflhe group moves
playback to the firsttrack of the group, and
pressing _ twice continuously on the
recorder or the remote control during the first
track of the group moves playback to the lasl
track of the group.
To turn off the group function
Press GROUP for 2 seconds or more
again.
Note
[n group mode, tile recorder treats all tracks
without group settings as belonging to the lasl
group on the disc. The last group is indicaled in
the display window on ll]e recorder as
"GP --". Within a group, the tracks appear in
their order on the disc, nol their order within the
group.
Selecting and playing groups

Operations are possible regardless of
whether group mode is on or off2
ltowever, playback on |he recorder will
differ, depending on whe|her group mode
is on or off.
• When group mode is on:
Playback starts li'om the llrst track of|he
selected group and ends with |he last
track in the group.
• When group mode is off:
Playback starts li'om the llrst track of|he
selected group and ends with |he last
track in |he disc.
