Press the four-way controller (A T) to
select the icon for the desired picture
mode.
Press the OK button.
The Picture mode is selected.
Press the shutter release button.
The picture will be taken.

• In Picture mode, your selection is confirmed by pressing the shutter
release button half-way or by pressing the four:way controller, #r by
doing nothing for more than five seconds.
• In Picture mode, the EV compensation, saturation, contrast,
sharpness, and white balance are automatically set to the optimum
values for each mode. (You can change the settings.)
You can set the softness for soft mode in Picture mode.
1 Select [Soft setting] on the [_ Rec. Mode] menu.

Press the four-way controller (• _,) to
set the degree of softness.
Moving the (_) to the right will increase the
softening effect. Move it to the left to decrease
softness.
Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take a picture.
