You can match your settings to the situation.
Picture Mode
There are eight modes available.
Landscape
_i, (Default Setting) Enhances your landscape photos.
_" Flower Enhances your flower photos.
Portrait Enhances your portrait photos.
/_ Self-Portrait Enhances self-portraits or pictures including yourself.
Provides a softened effect for your pictures.
SOFT Soft
Softness can be set at seven levels.
Surf and Snow Enhances pictures taken against dazzling backgrounds
such as beaches or snow.
Sunset Beautiful results on pictures of sunsets or sunrises.
S illustration Makes the photograph look like a sketch.

Press the four-way controller (v) in Capture Mode.
The virtual mode dial is displayed.
Press the four-way controller (A v) to
select the [Picture Mode (-.=)] dial,
and press the four-way controller (_-).
The picture mode dial is displayed.
