When a spot area is selected, use
the four-way controller (• • • • )
to move the frame to the position
you want to measure.
Press the
OK

The white balance fine-tuning screen
appears when measuring is completed.
Adjust the white balance if necessary.

The camera returns to the [White Balance] screen.
Press the
OK
button.
The camera is ready to take a picture.
• No image is recorded when the shutter release button is pressed to adjust
the white balance.
• [The operation could not be completed correctly] appears when measuring is
unsuccessful. Press the OK button while displayed to return to the screen
for remeasuring.
• If the picture is extremely overexposed or underexposed, white balance may
not be adjusted. In this case. adjust appropriate exposure first and then
adjust the white balance.
• When the mode dial is set to _ (Movie), the white balance cannot be
measured. Adjust the white balance in any exposure mode other than
_I_ (Movie) before recording a movie.
