Periodically check the main cylinder, fluid levels and hoses for proper levels and ensure
there are no leaks. Also check for cracks in the main cylinder. As the brake pads wear
with use, the fluid levels will drop. Be sure to replace brake pads are replaced when
needed.
CAUTION – Use protective eye gear and gloves when handling brake fluid. Avoid
contact with eyes or skin. Incase of contact, flush eyes thoroughly with water and see a
physician immediately.
Always keep brake fluid out of reach of children.

Battery

Periodically check the battery fluid levels to ensure they are between the upper and lower
level mark. If below the required level, fill the battery with distilled water to the upper
level mark.
If the ATV will not be used for long periods of time, it is recommended that the battery be
removed and charged fully. Then store in a cool dry place. If the battery is to be left in
the ATV, disconnect the negative (-) lead from the battery terminal first, then disconnect
the positive (+) lead. Do not touch the positive and negative leads with metal objects to
prevent short circuiting.
WARNING – Batteries give off battery gases. Keep away from sparks, flames and lit
cigarettes. Provide adequate ventilation when charging the battery.
CAUTION – Always wear gloves and protective eye gear when handing battery fluid.
Contact with the skin or eyes can cause permanent damage. If battery fluid comes in
contact with eyes or is ingested, flush eyes immediately with water or drink water and
seek a physicians assistance immediately or call a poison control hotline.
