9. INSTALL INDOOR UNIT

9.5 How to Install the Indoor Unit

For tubing, choose either the left side or right
side direction.
1. When routing the piping and wiring from the
left or right side of indoor unit, cut off the
tailing from the chassis in necessary.
(As shown in Fig 20)
• Cut off the tailings 1 when routing the
wiring only.
• Cut of the tailings 1 and tailings 2 when
routing both the wiring and piping.
2. Take out the piping from body case, wrap
the piping, electric wire, water pipe with
tape and push them through the piping hole.
(As show in Fig.21)
3. Hang the mounting slots of the indoor unit
on the upper tabs of the rear panel and
check if it is securely seated on the rear
panel. (As show in Fig.22)
4. Carefully bend the tubing (if necesasry) to
run along the wall in the direction of outdoor
unit and then tape as far as the fittings.
(Refer 9.3 on Pg. 22). The drain hose should
come staright down the wall to a point where
water run off won't stain the wall.
5. Connect the refrigerant tubing to the outdoor
unit. (After performing a leak test on the
connecting part, insulate it with the tubing
insulation. (Fig.21) Also, refer to Pg 28,
(connecting tubing between indoor and
outdoor unit).
NOTE
For stable operation of the air
conditioner, do not install wall-
mounted type indoor units less than
2.5m from the floor level. (Fig.23)
