When the device is configured as a decoder it can receive the video and audio signal through
RTSP from up to 8 cameras in the network. The device will output the video and audio signal
from these cameras through its AV out port. This is an analog output and can be connected to
any monitor or TV that can receive a analog input (yellow, red, white). The patrol mode allows
the user to rotate the displayed image on the screen in the amount of seconds specified. You
can preview the image on the display in the home page. This feature is particularly useful to
carry AV signals to remote locations without the need for a PC for the decoding process. IT
also allows for a single wire (Ethernet) to be deployed instead of deploying a separate cable
for AV.
