USING CAPTION/TEXT
Activating Captions
(With CC B_tton)
1. Press the CC key on your Use SELECT (Up/Down) keys to
remote, choose CAPTION/I'EXT.

Press CC repeatedly to
access the five choices:
OFF, CAPTION 1 through
CAPTIO!'¢ 4.

Press ADJ (Left/Right) key
repeatedly to access the nine
choices: OFF, CAPTION 1
through CAPTION 4 and TEXT
1 through TEXT 4.
Notes:
_] At present, few TV programs or video tapes offer text captioning
for any option other than CAPTION 1. Therefore, CAPTION 1
is the only recommended choice, unless you know that a specific
program is providing captioning using one of the other selections.
_ Pressing CC while Text mode is active will turn Captions and
Text off.
