FAILURE TO FOLLOW CAUTIOUS
OPERATING PRACTICES CAN RESULT IN
SERIOUS OPERATOR INJURY.
1. K eep all shields, guards and safety devices (especially grass
discharge system ) in place and in proper working condition.
2. Stop engine and rem ove spark plug w ire(s) or rem ove
key before adjusting, servicing, or perform ing m aintenance.
3. W hen m ower deck becom es clogged, stop engine and rem ove
spark plug wire(s) or rem ove key before cleaning blockage.
4. K eep hands, feet, and clothing away from power driven parts.
5. K eep off m ow er unless seat platform is provided.
6. K eep others off m ower.

land, a w orking order spark arrester m ust be attached to m uffler. If not, the operator
is violating state law, Section 442 Public Resource Code. To acquire a spark arrester
for your unit, see your Engine Service D ealer.
