Setting the timer to turn onthe TV
You can set the on timer to turn on the TV to a preset
channel or input at a preset time.
To activate the timer:

> APPLICATIONS > On Timer > _.

Press • oi" • to select Enable On Timer.

to select On.
Note: If the Enable On Timer is set to Off, other menus
under On Timer cannot be changed.
To set the timer:

> APPLICATIONS > On Timer > _.
2 Set these options to your preferences:
A state of On Timer LED while On
Timer is set to On.
On Timer LED
On: Turns on the LED.
Off: Turns off the LED.
Input Video input source.
Channel Channel to view.
Volume Volume level.
Amount of time from now when you
want the TV to turn on.
Time until
minimum= 00:10, maximum= 12:00
Power On
• Press < or •.
• Press the number buttons.
3 Select Done. Press '_o_.
Note:
• When the On Timer LED is set to On, the LED lights to
green (_,_ "LED indications" on p. 78).
° If you do not operate the TV for 1 hour after it is powered
on by the On Timer feature, the TV turns off.
To cancel the timer:

> APPLICATIONS > On Timer > ,_.

Press • or • to select Enable On Timer.
3 Press < o1"• to select Off.
Settingthe sleeptimer
You can set the TV to turn off after a specific amount of
time (maximum = 12 hours).
Using the remote control:

Press SLEEP

Set the time until the TV turns off.
• Repeatedly press s_Ep to increase the time.
• Press • or • to increase or decrease the time.
Using the onscreen menus:

> APPLICATIONS > Sleep Timer.

Enter the time until the TV tulTlS off.
• Press the number buttons.
• Press • or • to increase or decrease the time.
Note: When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting
may be cleared.
To display the time remaining until the TV turns off:
Press s_.
To cancel the sleep timer:
Press s_ repeatedly or press • or • until it is set to 0
minutes.
