Fuse replacement
When repladng
the fuse, be sure to use one
matching the maxperage rating stated on the
original fuse. If the fuse blows, check the power
connection and replace the fuse. If the fuse blows
again after replacement,
there may be an internal
ma[fu_c_on.
In such a case, consult yottr nearest
Sony dealer.

Cleaning
the connectors
The _mit may not fanc_on p_operly ff the
connectors between the unit and the !_ont panel
are not clean. In order to T_e_t_this,
open the
front panel by pressing _,
then detach
it and dean the connectors with a cotton swab
dipped in alcohol. Do not apply too much force.
Otherwise, the connectors may be damaged.
Dismounting the unit

Press the clip inside the front cover with a
thin screwdriver, and gentry pry the front
€over free.

Repeat step 1 on the left side.
The front cover is removed.

Insert a flathead screwdriver between the
bracket and mounting spring. Gently pry
the spring toward the unit while pulling
the unit out a little. Repeat on the
opposite side and remove the unit.

Notes
• For safety, turn off the engine before cleaning the
connectors and remove the key from the ignition
switch.
• Never touch the connectors dire(tly with your
fingers or any metal day/re.
