Do not use/store the camera in

Be carehfl not to let sand or dust gel into the
camera, This may cause tile calnera to
nlalhmction, and in sonle cases lhis nlalflmction
cannot be repaired.
On carrying
Do not sit down in a chair or other place with the
Calllera ill tile back pocket of your trousel>, or
skirt, _s this nlay cause nlalhmctkm or danl_ge the
catnera.
On cleaning
Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe the screen surlace with an LCD cleaning kit
(nol supplied) to renlove fingerprinls, dusl, etc,
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with a solt ch)lh to rcnlox e
fingerprinls,
dust,
etc.
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean tile canlera surl_ce with a soft cloth slightly
inoistened with water, then wipe tile sullace wilh
a dry cloth. Do not use the lollowing as they nlay
danlage the finish or tile casing.
• Chenlical products such as thinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable cloths, insect rcpellem,
sunscmen or insecticide, etc.
• Do not [ouch tile camera with tile above on your
hand.
• Do nol leave the camera ill contact with rubber
or vinyl 1or a long time.
On operating temperatures
Your cunlera is designed lor u_ under tile
temperatures between 0°C and 40°C (32°F and
104°F). Shooting ill extremely coM or hot places
that exceed fllis range is not recommended,
On moisture condensation
If tile camera is brought directly h'onl a cold to a
warm h)cation, [noislure may condense inside or
outside tile calnel'a, This Inoislure C()lldensatiOll
lll_ly cause a nlalJ/inctiOll ol tile C_ltllera.
If moisture condensation occurs
Turn oil tile Calncra and wait about an hour Ior tile
inoismre to e_, a porate. Note that il you attelnpl to
shoot with nloisture rcnlaining inside tile ]ells. you
will be unable to record clear inlages,
On the internal rechargeable
backup battery
This cmnera has an internal rechargeable battery
Ior maintaining tile date and time and other
settings regardless ol whether tile power is on or
011.
This recharge_ble battery is continually charged
as long as you are using the camera. However. if
you use tile calnera lor only short periods, it
discharges gradually, and if you do not use the
camera at all Ior about one lllonth it beconles
completely discharged. In this case, be sure to
chalge this rcchargeable ballery belorc using the
calnera.
However, even if this rcchargeable battery is not
chalged, you can still use the camera as long as
you do not record file date and time.
Charging method of the internal
rechargeable backup battery
hlsert batteries with enough capacity ill the
C_ltllera, or connect tile catnera to _1 wMl outlet
(wall socket) using the AC Adaptor (not
supplied), and leave tile camera Ior 24 hours or
more with tile power off,
